Commonwealth Games: Achinta’s mother secures trophies in a torn sari

20-year-old Achinta, who faced many troubles as a child, credits her success to her mother and coach Astam Das. Achinta said, “Mother and coach have played an important role in making me a player. Many people were waiting for Achinta when she reached home. Life has never been easier for me and my family. One roti was hard to come by.
