Coca-Cola to release NFT series on gender diversity

Global beverage company Coca-Cola has announced the launch of a non-fungible token (NFT) series linked to gender diversity. This series of digital collectibles has been designed in collaboration with South African designer Mnisi. There will be a total of 136 pieces in this.

This project is getting support from the blockchain Polygon. Each NFT in this series will feature a Coca-Cola bottle with rainbow-like colors on it. These NFTs have been shown on social media. These can be bought with the Polygon (MATIC) cryptocurrency. Gadgets 360 price tracker As of now, each Polygon is priced at around $0.50. Funds from the sale of this series will be donated to OUT, an LGBTQ+ charity selected by Mnisi.

Coca-Cola celebrates its 136th year in business this year. The company said in a blog post, “Coca-Cola in its 136-year presence has connected people through moments of connection. There is growing interest in NFTs from the Web3 community as well as the metaverse industry. Meta, which runs social media sites Facebook and Instagram, is set to start testing the display of NFTs on Instagram Stories using its augmented reality platform AR. After initial testing of NFT display options on Instagram last month, Meta is now expanding the scope of testing. It also plans to bring the NFT display to Facebook soon.
