The BYD E6 MPV is powered by a 71.7 kWh Blade battery pack that offers a WLTC range of 520 km (City) and a WLTC (Combined) range of 415 km on a single charge. Its boot capacity is 580 liters. In this, the regenerating power is available up to at least 2 kmph. The top speed is 130 kmph.
The company is offering a vehicle warranty of 3 years or 125,000 km, a battery cell warranty of 8 years or 500,000 km and a traction motor warranty of 8 years or 150,000 km.
In terms of battery safety

The all-new E6 scores high in terms of battery safety and is the first model in India to adopt BYD’s puncture-resistance Blade battery.
There is no direct competition with this car. Still, the Hyundai Kona and Amy GS EV, which are available in the same price range, can compete.
will be found in these cities first
It is first available in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Kochi. In these cities, the company had inaugurated its showroom some time back.
Recently the company has expanded its dealership in India by appointing dealer partners in Gurugram, Chandigarh, Indore, Jaipur, Pune and Kolkata. It also inaugurated a passenger vehicle dealership showroom in Ernakulam last month.
Made India Book of Records
The all-new E6 recently created India Book of Records for the maximum distance covered in an electric car of 2203 kms by completing the Sustainability Drive initiative. This 6 day campaign from Mumbai to Delhi ‘Sustainable Campaign for Sustainable India’ was conducted to raise awareness for EV adoption.
India is planning to invest Rs 26,000 crore in subsidies for automakers over the next five years. With the shared goals of zero emissions and sustainable development, BYD will join hands with its partners and dealers to introduce more products in India.
The delivery of 450 units of the E6 electric MPV is a good start for the company. BYD India has come up with a new option in the form of the E6 as compared to the existing EVs. However, it lags behind in terms of price.
