Bajaj Auto sold 3,47,004 units of vehicles in June 2022, marginally lower than last year

Baja Auto reported total sales of 1,38,351 units of its two-wheeler and commercial vehicles (CVs) in the domestic market in June, up from 1,61,386 units in the same month last year. The company has registered a decline of 15 percent as compared to the previous year.

On the other hand, when it comes to the company’s exports, this number increased to 2,08,653 units in June 2022, while the number of exports of the company was recorded at 1,84,300 units in June 2021. The company’s exports have registered an increase of about 13 percent in the month of June this year as compared to June last year.

As per the data revealed, the company has sold a total of 3,15,948 two-wheelers, which includes both export and domestic sales, registering a growth of 2 per cent as compared to 3,10,578 units in June last year.

Although there has been a decline of 20 percent in the sales of the company’s two-wheelers in the domestic market last month, because in June 2021, the company sold 1,55,640 units, while in June this year, Bajaj Auto in the domestic market. Total sales of 1,25,083 units of two wheelers have been registered.

On the other hand, the automaker registered 1,90,865 sales as against 1,54,938 units sold in June 2021, a 23 per cent growth in exports from the same segment. The three-wheeler segment also saw a drop of 13 per cent in sales as Bajaj Auto registered 31,056 CV sales as compared to 35,558 units in the same period last year.

Let us inform that the company has recently launched the new Pulsar 250 Black Edition and Pulsar N160 while expanding its Bajaj Pulsar range to accelerate the sales of its vehicles. While the Pulsar 250 Black Edition has been launched at Rs 1.50 lakh, the Pulsar N160 has been launched at a price of Rs 1.23 lakh.

Talking about the new black variants of the Pulsar N250 and F250, Bajaj will get you these all-black variants at Rs. 6,000 and Rs. 5,000 more, respectively, as compared to the regular versions of the bike. Apart from cosmetic updates, a major feature update has also been given on both the models.

The new Pulsar 250 twins are now equipped with dual-channel ABS. The regular versions of both the models get only single-channel ABS. Also, both the bikes now come with a dark paint scheme. The company calls it the Brooklyn Black paint shade. The panels in both the models use matte and gloss paint, with a bit of silver paint as a highlight.
